Reply:You'll need to set up POP access for your Hotmail account, if they allow that. After that, you can add your account to Yahoo by setting it up in the mail options.

I can't delete any messages from my hotmail account?

I check off message I want to delete in my inbox, and even after I click delete, the messages don't delete. A message at the bottom left of the browser says theres errors on page. I tried closing it and opening it again, but it doesn't work. The problem has been going for a few days now. What do I do?

Reply:try to just save your messages in a folder. after u saved it in the folder delete the folder. All of the files in the folder should be deleted

Hi i was wondering ... there are alot of websites like youtube, hi5,facebook,myspace,friendster .....countless .There are lots of websites that you (or even i ) am a part of , and have been using for a long time .Usually we use ONE email for all those sites, right? And now my ultimate question is what happens when you delete that Hotmail account? What happens to all those websites that were registered under that ONE hotmail account of yours? what are the effects that happen? Can someone tell me? And what is the coclusion or what can i do about it?

You can still use the sites its just that you will not be able to get any notifications, updates or any mail those sites might send to you. And if you lose your log in password and they have to send it to your email well you already know...you're locked out.





Of course some of those sites offer you the option to change your email and account info so you might want to consider doing that before you cancel your hotmail account. Or just don't use the hotmail account...it will eventually get closed and you will always have to option to reactivate it if you ever need it in the future.

Why can't I post to my groups from my hotmail account?

I am having problems posting to the yahoo groups that I am a member of from my hotmail email address. I receive mail fine and I can send the word test in the subject line but I can't compose any emails. Also it will allow me to reply to any group members but I can't post. except for one group Urscene-fm@yahoogroups.com.

maybe it has to do with the groups itself, than the use of hotmail although hotmail seems to often conflict with Yahoo groups. what happens when you try to post? does it come back to your inbox as an error and if so, what does the error state?
