I just got an iphone and I am trying to set-up an email account for hotmail.com. I already did one for yahoo, but it is different when I try to set one up for hotmail.

hotmail does not do pop or imap... I don't think it does exchange either.





hotmail is owned by Microsoft. Don't expect it any time soon.

to delete a hotmail account simply follow the following steps...





step 1: login into your hotmail account..





step 2:click options which is in the top right corner then click more options...





step 3: at the bottom of the page right corner it says account click on that...





step 4: under additional options click close account...





step 5: enter your password to verify...





step 6: then click close Microsoft account...





then your account will be deleted if you wish to return back to it then you will need to reactivate it within 270 days...your msn account will also be deleted too once you delete the hotmail...
