I have this old account I no longer want... how do I delete it? (for msn and hotmail)



How do I delete a hotmail account?
To close your Windows Live (MSN, Hotmail) account:


1: Go to http://account.live.com and login to the account you want to close.


2: Click Settings near the top-right corner and under either Common Tasks at the right hand side or Additional Options at the left, click Close (my) Account.


3: Verify that you want to close the account by providing the password.

5. Click Close a free Windows Live Hotmail account, and then click the Windows Live Hotmail close account link.

To close your MSN Mobile account, visit http://mobile.msn.com (http://mobile.msn.com), sign in, and then click Delete my account. 6. Click Close My Account.





Note If you decide that you do not want to cancel your account after you follow these steps, you can still reactivate your account. To reactivate your account, sign in to one of the following Web sites within 90 days:

http://mail.live.com (http://mail.live.com)


However, all the messages that were stored in your account will be deleted.
