I had a security class in college and we d/l software off the internet and were able to hack into email accounts (yahoo, hotmail) that WE MADE...not other ppls (and this was done on a private network...not public) but yes it is possible. If ur password is easy...then change it to have symbols, numbers, few alphabet characters, etc. Then it'll make it harder
Reply:Yes, everything is at riks of being hacked. To prevent this, use a strong password. A combo of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, symbols, and punctuation marks. At least 8 characters, the longer the better. You should change your password at least once a month. Also to prevent backdoor intrusions, use a very hard to guess security question, or make your answer non-related to the question. And also avoid phishing sites, ensure that the site has HTTP or HTTPS at the beginning the URL. You can also check the site with the lock near the status bar.

Reply:if you use a password that is easy to guess then yes - use Upper and lower case letters + numbers + special characters (whatever msn will allow). the password length should be at least 8 characters.
