Is it illegal to hack into someone's hotmail account?

I suspect mine has been hacked into and I know the culprit. What action can i take?

I suggest first changing your password and security question then contact hotmail give them any information you can and see what can be done.
Reply:Sure it's illegal to hack anyones account but a good hacker wont leave a trail and little to nothing can be done.


I find hotmail to be the last on my list for good email programs.,create yourself a free gmail account,you inbox is never overfilled like hotmail is whineing about all the time,for example a friend may attach a dozen pics and send then to you at your hotmail account and hotmail will sometimes reject it because of the size.


Someone can attach a 100 pictures in an email to you and it allways gets to your inbox.


Gmail is free and has it's qwn chat feature and notifier.


Hotmail was good along time ago but it has become a dinosaur and an inferior emil program good for collecting spam.
